Introducing uVault, a fully automated cloud backup routine in which works quietly and diligently in the background on your ESP server to automatically and securely back-up its Elite application database/ system to a state of the art remote data centre.
The uVault backup solution will negate any failure encountered from older usb or tape backup methods which can be prone to hardware failures, forgotten rotations or forgotten back-ups completely.
Using our server monitoring solution, uVault is proactively monitored. ESP support will be notified immediately should a failure occur enabling us to take any remedial steps required. Users are able to check the log of the last 30 days backups should they require.
uVault backup works diligently in the background with no user intervention required in conjunction with proactive monitoring by ESP. No longer is there the need to invest time in manual usb pens or tape cassette rotations.
All data is automatically encrypted and is backed-up from your local server to a secure and dedicated datacentre offsite.
Having an offsite back-up solution such as uVault can reduce the cost of some insurance premiums*.
In the rare event of an ESP supported ESP server encountering a total hardware failure, using uVault we can prepare a server with your data pre-recovered to dramatically decrease the time needed to recover from such a failure.

*Please note: The uVault backup solution is dependent on the upload speed of your broadband connection and the stability of the line. A minimum broadband upload line speed of 2.5Mb is required for uVault. uVault solution is only available to servers under ESP maintenance support. In the case of reduced insurance premiums, please make sure to check with your insurance providers for any applicable insurance premium discounts that may be available.

Data is encrypted using AES 256-bit encryption prior to leaving your server to the datacentre (on data transfer and storage).
Data is transferred using industry standard 128-bit SSL technology during itâs journey to the data centre thus adding a second layer of security.
Data is compressed during its upload to the data centre thus saving time and bandwidth usage.
Should disaster strike, uVault permits a folder or file to be restored from when the item was backed-up in that particular version in the last 10 days.

Fast data transfers. First initial full back-up then anything after this is from anything changed since last back-up.
Email report sent to ESP support for review with every back-up performed. Additionally, ESP server monitoring alerts ESP Support of any issues should they need to be resolved with the last 30 days back-up log being viewable by both ESP and users if required.
Backed-up data resides on raid-protected industry leading storage devices with multiple levels of redundancy. Additionally, data is periodically backed up onto another set of devices for additional security.
